It has been experienced that symptoms and depression responses are not the same; they differ with gender and age. But one thing is for sure that you can get depression at any stage of your life.
Depression in Men
Men usually get aggressive and violent when depression takes over. They rarely go for self-loathing. They have their way of expressing depression. Men also complain about fatigue, irritability, sleeping problems, and substance abuse. They deal with things with anger and violence, indulge themselves in reckless behavior. Men also might face trouble at work as they can not concentrate and focus.

Major depression is not too very much common. But it shows serious symptoms. If untreated, it may prolong to six months time period. Atypical depression symptoms include abnormal weight gain, increased appetite, excessive sleep, sensitivity to rejection, and sometimes numbness in limbs.
What measures could fight against depression
